10月26日，体育新闻报道，ESPN资深记者Tim MacMahon在《Hoop Collective》的播客访谈中深入探讨了休斯顿火箭队球员阿门·汤普森的进攻角色。
MacMahon emphasized that Ahmen doesn't have to be a prolific three-point shooter. To be candid, within the current roster of the Rockets, Durant is a marksman, VanVleet is adept at launching threes, and Jabari Smith is a highly skilled forward with a knack for shooting. Consequently, the Rockets have no pressing need for Ahmen to shoot a high volume of three-pointers. What they seek from Ahmen is to be a formidable presence in the paint, near the hoop, while also making a significant impact on the defensive end of the court across the entire playing field.
