Upon my arrival to the Thunder, the season during which I was absent due to injury, the absence of a genuine center was stark within our ranks. It was primarily myself and Jermaine Williams who navigated the interior. However, with the acquisition of additional centers, both Williams and I have now transitioned into power forward roles.
Over the years, our team has experienced significant growth in height. Naturally, decisions on the basketball court often involve compromise. However, the towering figures we have at our disposal are not just merely adequate; they are exceptional. Fielding them on the court concurrently doesn't impose a substantial burden on the squad. It's nothing short of astonishing to me that Sam Presti has been able to unearth such a plethora of players who are not only tall but also technically proficient.
