Ben Simmons confessed, "It was utterly disheartening; my free throws were subpar. I believe my preoccupation with the potential disruption of the game's pace and the struggle to advance the ball effectively into the front court imposed a significant mental burden on me. This burden, in turn, led me to overthink during my free-throw attempts, causing me to become overly fixated."
