The event will witness 943 matches being played across 20 venues over a span of six competition days, and the entire process unfolds as follows:

The pivotal aspect is that upon the conclusion of the initial group stage, no team is eliminated; instead, all advance to the subsequent phase. Subsequently, a systematic progression unfolds, with the top 32 teams from each group contesting Tier 1, the next 32 from Tier 2, and so on, each team competing in its designated tier. Within these tiers, matches are arranged in a cross-sectional format, where victorious teams face off against each other, and those that lose compete with others who have also been defeated, culminating in the ultimate determination of winners. This means that even if a team loses, they still remain in the competition, with each squad poised to play an estimated 7 to 10 matches. The outcomes of China's matches against Japan and Saudi Arabia in the first group stage do not determine their qualification status but rather dictate the tier they will enter in the second phase of the competition. This is why it is termed the "U15 World Cup and Football Festival," as it diverges from the traditional knockout format of a "World Cup."
